Ok Andrea, first of all we're just protecting the original design of the group, preventing an usurp of power. Dont get me wrong I am very interested in your meetup. It's unusual, spontaneous, and a good idea. However the majority of us including the assistant group leader just want you to ask permission to hold an official meetup. And on top of that the money thing, renting the room you picked costs a pretty penny, even for a day. What we are worried about is a.....history of nice gestures being turned around onto us and asked for a returning payment, usually something in a sick, tiwsted or greedy way. Most of us are just getting started with our careers, and therefore dont have the benefit of a larger paycheck. So doing something this big is unusual to us.
As for bumping heads, we can do that all we want, its when we lock horns we need to watch out. "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM" sounds an awful like you want to start something instead of avoid it. Belittleing with the phrase "grow up son" and daring him to check it out does not give credit to your maturity either. I am just trying to keep the peace in the group and i myself would like to go to your meetup, it sounds great. We all have our negative sides, just try not to let it out too much.

ok ok would n e one like to explain? cuz i sure as hell would like to know who people are talking to, and andrea my wife and i type under each others names but she can spell i cant and i have a signature i always use so for futre reference thats how you know who your talking to, and if the growing up was refereing to me then what is more grown up than giving up your career, your home, your country, your car, your culture, your way of life, dropping it all giving it all up to be with the woman you love, and taking on new life, new responsibilities, new career, new home, new culture, new country, and get marrid to, to go through that and still come out smiling the other end i think that defines grown up, i am a man of honour and morals so no need to talk to me of growing up cuz im already there. and turn out is not at zero it is counterble on one hand, like i sed before it needs to go to the group to make decisions it cant be done off ones own bck not even the organisers do this, you cant just do things wiothout getting the general concenses of the group and expect it to just work not everyone knws about it for one you just did it off the wall whose gunna go? cuz ya dint talk to the group about it and just did it you see the point yet? or does it still elude if so i'll be happy to talk further to you about this concept give us a call and i'll explain to you in more detail.
