Greetings and warmest salutations to all my new sanguine friends.
I have been in, on, and around the Vampire/Goth/Witch scene almost my entire life, but alas away for far too long. I am so pleased to have found this meetup group. I am especially pleased with this discussion board and the input from all in an open, warm, and encouraging environment. Special thanks to Sandman Brian, Madame Webb, Ice Wind, and, yes, even Mistress Chi's pointed remarks to Vlad - Spot On! It is my hope that everyone will honestly consider the issue I am about to make. Most people act oddly when confronted with the truth. When it was proven that we have been making beer for over 6000 years, Muslims were aghast! (so was AA) When it was proven that the first 6 books of the Old Testament were plagiarized from the Sumerian "Book of Creation", Jews and Christians were terribly offended. The truth is that the Jews not only stole the books but also horribly obfuscated the facts with their newly acquired monotheism (c 600 BCE). My question is this: How would the vampire community react if they knew their culture holds the secret for extending human life beyond 300 years? The old legends of vampires living extended lives is actually based in fact. With a few simple modifications, it can be done!!! How do you feel? What do you think? A little far fetched? You'd be surprised. Actually, I'm hoping you'll see through dogma and restricted social constructs. I'm hoping you will want to know more; that you will want to actually take the first few steps towards making it happen. Let the discussion begin! |

The flavor of the post is based on emotion and innuendo. It also appears to be used to initiate other obscure follow-on actions. I believe in being up front with full disclosure. If the primary introduction contains appeals used in political persausion then it makes a statement about any following postings. No personal background is given about you or your rational about beliefs in the community? I invite you to come out to the Meet-ups in person, and we can discuss this.
[Quote]Greetings and warmest salutations to all my new sanguine friends. **********Why is this just directed to sang vampires? [Quote]Special thanks to Sandman Brian, Madame Webb, Ice Wind, and, yes, even Mistress Chi's... ****************Thanks, but we have only done what we believe in as ethical members of the community. [Quote]Most people act oddly when confronted with the truth. **********************How is that? The "truth will set you free" is from the Bible, and is inscribed on the tiled floor of the Central Intelligence Agency. So now it is being referred to as a title. In the same paragraph the Bible is discredited as being a partialy plagerized? [Quote]When it was proven that we have been making beer for over 6000 years, Muslims were aghast! ***********************The Kings James version of the Bible has been manipulated by Royality. The Vatikan has a Rabbi in residence so that the Pope canget a first hand translation of the hebrew texts. I don't see the connection between "beer" and the Old Testement? Except that the Bibble refers to the consumption of wine, and Muslims ban alcohol. [Quote]My question is this: How would the vampire community react if they knew their culture holds the secret for extending human life beyond 300 years? **********************Vampires have a mortal body just as all humans do. So it seems that all people could extend their lives with proper living and eating. The question is whether the individual has won the lottery and will reach very old age. Just because my ancestors lived into their late 90's without the need for glasses or hearing aids doesn't necessarily mean that I shall. [Quote]The old legends of vampires living extended lives is actually based in fact. *************************I would like to see the primary source materila for this fact? The old legends are based on fictional literature. Which in turn are based on the creative imagination of fiction writers. [Quote]With a few simple modifications, it can be done!!! How do you feel? What do you think? A little far fetched? You'd be surprised. Actually, I'm hoping you'll see through dogma and restricted social constructs. *********The posibilty is there but the probabilty outweighs it. *********Simple modifications? If people are don't believe this, then they are painted with the broad brush of adhering to "dogma and restricted social constructs" The human body and by extension the Vampire body last for a certain period of time. [Quote]I'm hoping you will want to know more; that you will want to actually take the first few steps towards making it happen. *********This is a dubious statement and acts as somewhat of an enticement. Does this involve payment or funding? Or investment of the persons body for experimentation? Obviously the public services like OHIP wouldn't support such payments. So this leads me to ask if the modifications take place in a foreign country? |

Thank you for the excellent posting, Sandman. It is exactly the sort of response I was trying to illicit.
First of all, you are right. I should have addressed my greeting to ALL of the various forms and members of the community. It was certainly an egregious oversight on my part and for that I apologize. Let?s chalk it up to being rusty. Yes, I believe I?ll be out to the July 12 MeetUp ? sounds like a perfect opportunity to reconnect and meet some great people. ?The truth will set you free? is now part of our common linguistic lexicon to the point where I?ve even heard it in Disney movies. Big deal. But it does make a catchy title. Now, as for the rest of your response, here is something to ponder: Genesis 9:4: ?But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.? Why would Jehovah oppose the intake of blood, while allowing his worshipers to eat flesh? Why bother to specifically dictate a law -- early in Genesis -- that forbade the practice? Is this passage the true root of vampire lore? Have you ever heard of Jecharia Sitchin? He deciphered many of the Sumerian cuneiform tablets which, among other things, showed that we?ve been making beer for at least 6000 years. Any reference to Muslims or AA on my part was simply an attempt at humour. You obviously didn?t get it. That may be my fault since I am deliberately trying to be coy. The point is that he was also able to prove that the Jews plagiarized the first 6 books of the Bible from these same tablets. Therefore, the true meaning of the above passage from Genesis was lost?until now. Over the past 30 years, so much more new information has come to light on this subject. OK, no more beating around the bush. Please go to the following site: http://www.biblioteca... Or simply google: Sir Laurence Gardner and Star Fire. They should both get you to the same place. He is, without a doubt, one of the greatest and most well respected researchers on earth today. He wrote a book called ?Genesis of the Grail Kings? (1999). The above site is a 3 part synopsis he wrote about his book. Either read the book or his synopsis by Saturday and we can discuss it. I?ll even try to bring a copy if you have any trouble finding this site. I?m serious ? it?s mindboggling stuff. BTW, did you know that Bram Stoker was an alchemist and Master Craftsman (Mason)? See you Saturday?..V```V?.. |

Ancient Sumer, so much of all our history started in Persia...
As with any myth there are bits of truth, as to the vampire mythos - of course there are truths to them. Great post. Madame Webb |
